Nasser Khateeb is an attorney at Umberg/Zipser LLP and focuses his practice on intellectual property law, helping clients secure, protect, and grow their innovations. After receiving a Bachelor of Science in neurobiology and a Juris Doctor, both from the University of California, Irvine, Nasser combines his scientific background with legal expertise to serve clients across a range of industries. These industries include biotechnology, neuroscience, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and engineering. In addition to securing patents for innovative technologies, Nasser’s work focuses on building and defending robust trademark portfolios, including handling Oppositions and Cancellations, to support clients’ strategic growth and brand protection.

During his time at University of California Irvine, School of Law, Nasser distinguished himself through various leadership and advocacy roles, including serving as the president of both the Intellectual Property Law Society and the Business Law Society, and earned the title of Mock Trial Champion. Nasser is dedicated to community service, and his pro bono work includes assisting refugees with the drafting of humanitarian parole applications.
