Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) Annual Judges’ Night 2022

On Thursday, April 7th, the Orange County Bar Association (OCBA) held its annual Judges’ Night. It was a special evening, as the OCBA returned to an in-person event after two years. Hundreds celebrated as the Honorable Judge David O. Carter installed the new OCBA officers and directors, including Umberg/Zipser’s own Mei Tsang as OCBA Secretary. Mei is now in line to become OCBA President in 2025, following the path of U/Z’s Scott Garner (2020 President) and Dean Zipser (2005 President).

The evening also honored our friend and former OCBA President, Joel Miliband, as this year’s recipient of OCBA’s prestigious Franklin G. West Award. We are proud of our long and continuing service to OCBA. In addition to Mei becoming an officer this year, our attorneys continue to serve as chairs for OCBA committees and sections, board members of divisions and affiliate member organizations, and members of countless sections and committees.
