Umberg/Zipser LLP (U/Z) is delighted to welcome Nasser Khateeb as our newest associate attorney to our team! Nasser spent two summers with U/Z as an intellectual property law clerk, and we congratulate him on being admitted to the California Bar. He will be part of our growing IP practice group, helping our clients secure, protect, and grow their innovations.
Nasser combines his scientific background with legal expertise to serve clients across a range of industries including biotechnology, neuroscience, pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, and engineering. His work is centered on ensuring and protecting patents for groundbreaking technologies, as well as developing and defending comprehensive trademark portfolios to support our clients’ strategic growth.
At University of California Irvine, School of Law, Nasser served as the president of both the Intellectual Property Law Society and the Business Law Society, where he earned the title of Mock Trial Champion. Nasser is dedicated to community service, and his pro bono work includes assisting refugees with the drafting of humanitarian parole applications.
