The June issue of OC Lawyer included a segment, “Professional Practice Makes Perfect (Advice from the Masters),” by Julie McCoy that features advice from the “Masters Division” of the Orange County Bar to new lawyers. According to the article, “The Division is comprised of the most experienced practitioners in our community and currently boasts a board of directors populated by some of the most talented and esteemed members of the Orange County Bench and Bar.”
U/Z’s Dean Zipser, former Master Division Chair and current board member, offered this advice: “There’s nothing wrong with not knowing immediately the answer to every client question, and don’t feel that you need to have every answer at your fingertips. No one does. There’s nothing wrong in responding that you’ll need to look into the question and get back.”
